Hûchâ Mànu̽ (/ˈhʊʧɑ/ /ˈmənu̽/ [exotic] [fuel]) is a subtropical Town located in Bammedah Zone, Mijgake Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Hûchâ Mànu̽ is derived from the Wareneese language, as Hûchâ Mànu̽ was founded by Tennil Treshesèj, who was culturaly Wareneese.

Climate

Hûchâ Mànu̽ has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 16°C (60°F). Overview

Hûchâ Mànu̽ was founded durring the early 12th century in fall of the year 1135, by Tennil Treshesèj. The establishment of Hûchâ Mànu̽ was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Hûchâ Mànu̽'s construction back out of the project. Tennil Treshesèj pushed on reguardles, and Hûchâ Mànu̽ was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Hûchâ Mànu̽ was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Hûchâ Mànu̽ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Hûchâ Mànu̽ is was constructed arround several restrictive gravel mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's minimaly adiquite are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Right off the bat Hûchâ Mànu̽ hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The town is very clearly a joyfull place as well as wealthy. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

Hûchâ Mànu̽'s chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.
